Graham Taylor once said 'Do I not like orange' and this week I think it is 'Do I not like green'. At least there was no Ronald Koeman like villain to take our anger out on.
On Tuesday, we took the long, but enjoyable trip to the South Coast for our match against Chichester City in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round.
The first half saw us match our Isthmian League opposition and we took a deserved lead into half time, through a penalty from Steve Murray.
Chichester came out for the second half with more vigour and midway through the half had taken a 2-1 lead. The scorer of their second goal was then dismissed for a reckless tackle.
Despite their tough game at Plymouth Parkway last Saturday, the lads still managed to throw the kitchen sink at it. Unfortunately, Chichester settled it with a third goal after our keeper, Fraser McDiarmid, had ventured up for a corner. A goalbound header was blocked and the ball broke to Chichester, whose forward broke up field to strike the ball into an empty net.

Saturday saw what in theory should have been an easier journey. It didn't turn out that way as the coach broke down on the way to Westbury and a replacement coach had to be summoned to Leigh Delamere services to ensure the team reached the ground.
Kick off was delayed by ten minutes to help extend our preparation. This didn't seem to help much as the first half saw us put in a rather flat performance and Westbury held a deserved two goal lead at the break.
One can only assume that the Luffman hair dryer came out at half time, though it beats me why he would actually have one. This resulted in a much improved performance and the game was back when around the hour mark, Dan Webb played Steve Murray in behind the Westbury defence to slot home confidently.
We continued on the front foot, with numerous shots, free kicks, long throws and corners. The best chance fell to Webby, but he couldn't quite stretch enough and deflected the ball over the bar from a yard or so out.

Our other teams who played this weekend had greater success.
The 2nds had a Bristol Premier Combination League Cup match and ran out 4-0 victors against Hambrook. The goals came from Liam Clayton (2), James Clayton and Dan Burgan.
Today, the Under 18s took on Cutters Friday in the league and continued their good start with a 5-1 win. Scorers were Buster Reed (2), James Crossley John, Joel Flash and an own goal.
Tuesday sees the 1st XI travel to Bristol rivals Bitton, so try to get along and support the lads if you can.
